Belinda Goodwin provides hair and makeup services in Sydney and had an outdated, single page website that did not match her style and experience and did not provide a platform that was easily updated with new photos by Belinda herself.

Website Design Process

Doing a review of industry websites that Belinda admired for both functionality and look and feel, we worked on a design that was simple yet had an edge showcasing Belinda's work. Pictures say a thousand words and in the form of a portfolio website, this was a key factor in keeping the home page light with showcases of Belinda's work. From there it was a matter of providing basic information that users could find quickly and easily and having a showcase gallery that was viewable whether simply scrolling the page or wishing a closer look via a lightbox popup.

Belinda wanted a website that was easy for her to update with new images. Future developments include a blog and an expansion of the portfolio gallery, as well as an online booking form.
