Website Design for ByK Kids Bikes

Our Client, Kids Bike Co, needed a website to showcase their new range of bikes for children. The brand has a clean, fresh look that needed to appeal to kids as well as their parents who are making the purchases.

Website Design Process

They wanted functionality on the site that allowed the user to see all the information about a bike on one page without having to browse through many pages. Each bike came in two colours and they wanted users to be able to see both the side and front images as well as being able to zoom in to take a closer look without having to open the picture in another browser window.

There had to be an easy to read FAQ, Store and Distributor Information and Map and of course an area for the kids showing pictures of real kids on real bikes and some cool downloads.

Search Engine Optimisation

Within 2 months of providing a comprehesive search engine optimisation exercise on the site, Byk Bikes was coming up orgnically in search engines for their chosen keywords. The number of unique visitors doubled, the search engine traffic went from 24% of visitors to 64% and their keyword breadth nearly tripled.
