The web design process follows these steps:

1. An initial discussion to understand your business and website needs is held. A review of competitor sites will supplement the development of design options.
   
2. The Joomla! CMS is built using a template approach and there are literally thousands to choose from. Template options will be researched and a selection will be chosen carefully on consultation, and adapted to match your corporate branding and the desired look and feel required for the website.
   
3. A ‘kick-off' meeting will be an opportunity for an in-depth needs analysis discussion on your sites objectives, template design and usability
   
4. Once the template design, layout and structure is agreed, we can begin mock-ups to ensure the layout and display is confirmed.
   
5. The refined design is converted to a functioning website on a test platform. All copy and pictures are incorporated into the design. Browser compatibility testing is completed at this stage.
   
6. A primary review meeting will allow you to review your functioning website. All functional and contextual feedback is collected and incorporated into final draft website.
   
7. A secondary review meeting will allow you to review the final draft website and confirm any final refinement
   
8. After a final internal release, your site is ready for live release

Of course, every website is different so there are going to be variations on the stages above, depending on stakeholders involved and the complexity and size of the website construction.

How do I manage my website?

After your website has gone live you will be given appropriate training so that you have the ability to manage your own website content. Training is imperative so that you can hit the ground running and look after your website yourself.

The Joomla! CMS built website allows you to ensure your website does not remain static. You have the ability to update content, pictures, layout and navigation but you might need help in making more complex changes down the track so we can be here to help out then too.

Phone support can be provided for the first couple of times you make amendments to your site so you know you are doing the right thing, most efficiently.
